Profile

I am a psychologist (M.Sc., Dr. phil.) and licensed psychotherapist (CBT) for children and adolescents at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich (LMU Munich). At LMU, I work as a researcher and lecturer (Akademischer Rat) in the department of psychology (clinical psychology of childhood and adolescence) and as a psychotherapist in our outpatient clinic for children and adolescents. In my research, I focus on emotional experiences and interpersonal processes in clinically relevant socially interactive situations, including psychotherapy, parent-child-interaction, and (parental) couple interaction.

Research project: Parent-child interaction in standardised play situations

  • Parent-child interaction has a significant influence on child development and is an important starting point in child and adolescent psychotherapy.
  • The research project aims to investigate parent-child interaction in various standardised yet everyday play situations.
  • Project leader: Dr Anton Marx
  • Data collection takes place in the EEKIP video laboratory.

Research project: Parental couple interaction in standardised conversation situations

  • Parental couple interaction plays an important role in family relationships and interaction processes. The way parents deal with stress has a particularly significant influence on this.
  • In cooperation with the Universities of Vienna and Witten/Herdecke, this research project investigates parental couple interaction in standardised, everyday conversation situations. We are particularly interested in how subjects deal with subjectively stressful events in dyadic conversation.

Research project: Emotional Contagion in Dyadic Online Video Conferences

  • The research project currently involves the simultaneous and synchronised recording of various emotional components during a structured conversation between two test subjects who interact via an online video conferencing system in two separate rooms.
  • Data collection in the FEEL video lab (Prof. Anne Frenzel, Psychology in the Learning Sciences)
